As more and more of my friends know that I work for a company that is focused on clean energy, the more questions I receive on some of the more technical aspects of certain clean energy technology. Believe it or not, the question I receive most often is how do solar photovoltaic systems (or solar panels) actually work? Solar power has been around for so long that for many people, its effectiveness is a given but many never stop to think exactly how they work.
